Hello Everyone!
I'd like to welcome you to A NEW EXPERIENCE
What things really matter most in life: money, health, love? How about all three! Any one of these things individually will allow for happiness; add all three together and you get true contentment. Being happy in life regardless of the circumstances is based on a true relationship with God. One that focuses on LOVE as a foundation for the way you carry out your daily routine; while realizing it's not about formalities or theories but about living by God's word depending on Him for soulful interpretations. Living Life Abundantly is the way it was intended. Abundance is not measured by your bank account; however it is measured by the quality of your life. You only live once so have at it!
Ok, so now that you've had your dose of intellectualism for the day let's talk about what really matters: QUALITY OF LIFE. Why bother living if your not going to give it a full effort! What better way is there to express quality of living than to experience luxury?
LUXURY: Dictionary.com defines it as "a pleasure out of the ordinary allowed to oneself, something expensive or hard to obtain or a refinement of living rather than a necessity. Time to change the game folks! Why should luxury be considered hard to obtain? Is enjoyment not a necessity? When's the last time you heard someone say how much they love being ordinary! Looking at life's recent events over the past 6 years: earth quakes, tsunamis, hurricanes a regular natural disaster smorgasbord indicates the need for REAL living; not an imitation of life.
So now I'm going to play Devil's Advocate. I hear someone out there saying luxury is not a necessity and borders on vanity. Please show me one person that's here for their second trip on earth. Is it a full expression of one's self to live in any other state than luxury? Sounds like living any other way than ordinary is the real necessity. Should a (LIFE) of quality only be available to a select few? Or perhaps, changing the definition of luxury would make it more attainable to the masses.
Luxury: a daily occurrence of quality living. Mmm... now that sounds like something EVERYONE can achieve. True luxury appears in all facets of life and can be compared to beauty. Beauty can be found in all things. A car, a pair of shoes, the arches in a hotel lobby, the smile of someone with a genuine servant's heart, the sun ever so elegantly bouncing off the ocean.... My intention is to share as many personal experiences with luxury as possible. They will be divulged in a manner that encompasses physical, spiritual and emotional aspects. Creating pictures in your mind that will transport you into the experience is key. I'll narrow the categories down to food and travel to make it easier.
My FAV thing to do is eat, (Oh that's SOO deep isn't it!) Now, hearing this statement causes alarm for many people due to my stature. I have spent my entire life as a naturally thin woman. I stand at 5'5 and weigh 105 lbs, not your typical foodie! However my inner fat girl craves the finest quality foods that dance on my palate ever so gracefully. It's to the point where bad food is like kryptonite to me! Even Clark Kent had to travel from time to time so why not you and I? Travel in a new sense that doesn't always have to include far away places. Basically, anywhere there's luxury (quality) is a good spot to go.
We've covered so much in such a short period of time. Basically we've looked at the real meaning of life from a spiritual perspective and used it to reshape our daily experiences. A diagram would kind of look like this:
happiness : GOD : quality of life
(Love) Beauty
(Luxury)
Now this is not a mass call for those interested in a frivolous or gluttonous lifestyle. There's enough of that in the world already. This is to be shared with those bold enough to want something DIFFERENT and REAL. If I only say or do one thing that brings true happiness to my readers, I am content. Now, Let's get LIVING!
